Pool Deck Resurfacing
A cooler, grippier surface around the water, applied over the deck you already own.
A pool deck has to do two things that an ordinary patio does not: stay comfortable to stand on barefoot in August, and stay grippy when it is covered in water. Bare concrete fails at both. It absorbs heat all afternoon and turns slick the moment it is wet.
A textured pool deck coating solves both at once. The light colours reflect heat instead of storing it, and the raised texture gives the sole of a wet foot something to hold on to. It is the same family of material as spray deck, applied with pool use in mind.
It is also a resurfacing job, not a rebuild. The existing deck is cleaned, cracks and spalling are repaired, and the new finish goes on top. For a deck that is structurally fine but stained, faded or rough underfoot, that is a fraction of the cost of replacing the concrete.
Chlorine, sun and standing water are a harsh combination. We use coatings rated to stand up to pool chemicals, not general-purpose patio paint.
