Decorative Concrete in Bellaire

Post-war bungalows next to new builds, and two very different concrete problems.

Bellaire is a street-by-street mix: 1940s and 1950s homes sitting beside houses finished last year. That split matters for concrete, because the two have almost nothing in common once you look at the slab.

On the older properties the patio has usually been there since the house was built. Seventy years of Texas weather leaves a surface that is pitted, unevenly faded and often patched where sections were added over the decades. Resurfacing ties all of that back into one continuous finish instead of a record of every repair.

On the newer builds the slab is pristine but completely plain, and often larger than the lot would suggest — these houses tend to use the whole footprint. A coating turns an expanse of grey concrete into part of the design rather than the thing you look past.

What we do in Bellaire

Lots here are tight, which affects access more than people expect. We work out how to get equipment and material to the back of the property before quoting, so there are no surprises mid-job.
