Pool Decks and Patios in Katy

Katy has one of the highest concentrations of backyard pools in the Houston area, and the way those neighbourhoods are built makes a difference to the deck. Master-planned subdivisions mean young trees, which means almost no shade over the pool for the first fifteen years. The deck takes full sun all afternoon.

That shows up two ways. The surface gets too hot to cross barefoot, and the finish ages faster than it would under cover. A light, textured coating fixes both at once: it reflects heat instead of storing it, and it is rated for the UV exposure that bare concrete simply absorbs.
